With regards to long-term credits, only a minority of the banks uses their own resources to fund investment products. So far banks have been using the resources from EAR, EIB, EBERD, KFW, and Italian credit line for SMEs;
EU resources to the EAR for SME development to fund projects in the field of goods and services production, increase employment and reduce imports. The credits are realized at HVB, Novi Sad, and Zepter Bank with 20% warranty. Credits are granted for a 5-year period, ranging from EUR 20,000 to 200,000 ;
EIB (European Investment Bank) resources to fund projects related to production, environment, infrastructure, are granted for a 12-15 year period, with a 1-5 year grace period, to the amount of EUR 200,000-20 M. Disbursement goes through the Commercial Bank and HBB Bank;
The Italian credit line for SMEs worth EUR 33.2 M for equipment modernization and procurement, are granted in the amount of EUR 55,000-1 M, for an 8-year period and is disbursed through the HVB Bank, Intesa Bank and Commercial Bank;
Credits to the Development Fund of Serbia for the SME sector for investments in modernization, reconstruction, introduction of new products and services, winning of new markets and reorientation to export markets. Funds are granted for a 5-year period with a 1-year grace period, and credit terms depend on the development of the municipality where the investment program is realized; participation can range from 40 - 80%, and with an interest rate of 1 -5%.

Serbia already includes a well established, open and competitive banking market with the participation of domestic, privatized and foreign banks;
There are a total of 38 banks in the territory of Serbia. Of this total, 25 have their branch offices, business units and subsidiaries in the territory within the jurisdiction of this chamber;
